This mod is a bit for gun nuts which is a bit scary. You have 1.13 on your first playthrough? That's pretty wild, I'm wondering if they improved it since the last time I played. Against 30 you should support with your mercs. Did you train militia? Experienced (blue) militia can usually hold out against 15 or less enemies. I assume you are playing with no mods installed? No 1.13?ġ) It's means you invested as many aps into aiming as possible, nothing else.Ģ) Normal or easy, if you want to make it "simpler", less weapons and no scifi.ģ) Seems like a high number, but it's possible if two patrols combine just before Drassen. In that case the only way to be sure is either to find a good review (which is near impossible nowadays) or just get the damn thing. At other times there is no picture at all. You get a clear picture in you head as to how the game work, and (despite fanboys claiming otherwise) when you buy it, it looks exactly like that picture. Sometimes you can read a lot of positive posts about a game and see with absolute certainty that the game sucks. Does that mean I did something wrong, or is it normal? In other words, should I start a new game, or just retreat/surrender? I have a couple of questions.ġ) What's with the yellow circle you get after right-clicking the enemy 4 times?Ģ) What are the recommended settings for the initial game?ģ) Dressen was attacked by 30 well-trained soldiers with good weapons. If you haven't tried it, by all means, do it.Īnyway, I just got totally slaughtered after capturing Dressen, so I'm probably going to start a new game. It's not just shooting, it's more like small-scale modern warfare. You constantly hire people, buy supplies and train rebels, liberate towns and defend them against enemy attacks, etc., etc. The important thing about it is not that it's a TB squad game, but the fact that it's quite different from most of the similar products. Now that I've finally played it, I see that it's one of the very few truly good games out there. I guess that's because it was promoted just as a TB squad game. I've heard a lot of good thing about it, and all of them were equally unimpressive. JA2 was the game from the second category. You get a clear picture in you head as to how the game works, and (despite fanboys claiming otherwise) when you buy it, it looks exactly like that picture.
